We had a brilliant day in school with historian and archaeologist Frankie Callaghan. She brought in lots of amazing artifacts from different time periods of history, chainmail from Medieval times, coins from Vikings, horns used for war and shoes from a bog in Denmark. The children learned loads of interesting and amazing facts and asked lots of questions. Big thank you to Frankie and the Heritage Council for facilitating the visit and the workshop.
