We are delighted to say that we have installed 15 new solar panels on the school. These solar panels are helping to generate electricity and help save the amount we use from the grid. This was all made possible through a grant from the government. We also have a monitor installed in the middle room that shows us how much energy we are taking from the grid and how much from our solar panels. This will help us to monitor our usage and encourage everyone in school to switch off lights and appliances when not in use. It is a great way to help teach the children about the energy we use and how to be more conscious about conserving it. This is another great step in making our school greener and more environmentally conscious. A big thanks to John and Callum from O’Hara Electrical for installing the solar panels and doing a brilliant job.
